Border Police officer who assaulted Palestinian Arab indicted...

The Police Internal Investigations Department has charged a Border Police officer with assault, threats, and unauthorized access to computer material. The indictment stems from an incident at the Container checkpoint where the officer allegedly broke the arm of a Palestinian Arab after discovering a photo of a weapon on his phone.

The case has been filed with the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court for further proceedings.
