This page explains how AllIsrael.chat uses cookies and similar browser storage.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to keep the site secure, to remember your choices, and, if you allow it, to measure how the site is used.

Your choice

We use analytics cookies only with your consent. In the EU, UK, and Switzerland, analytics stays off until you accept. Elsewhere it runs unless you decline. Either way you choose from the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies in your browser. Declining does not limit reading the site or using Ask AI.

Essential cookies

These are needed for the site to work and are always present:

  • aic_consent (first-party). Remembers your analytics choice so we do not ask again. Duration: up to one year.
  • Sign-in session (first-party, Supabase). Set only when you sign in, to keep you signed in. Removed when you sign out.

Analytics cookies (only with consent)

  • ph_distinct_id and the PostHog SDK cookie (first-party). Set by PostHog to measure traffic and feature usage and to record sessions for product debugging. Session recordings exclude your Ask AI conversations, which are masked in your browser before anything is sent. Duration: up to one year.
  • OpenAI Ads pixel (third-party, when enabled). Loads only with consent and may set cookies or local storage to measure page views and chat engagement for advertising.

Vercel, our host, also collects aggregate, privacy-friendly traffic measurements that do not use cookies to identify you.

Advertising cookies (only with consent)

  • Google AdSense (third-party, when enabled). Google serves ads on the free front page and may set cookies such as __gads, __gpi, and IDE to measure ad performance, limit how often you see the same ad, and in some regions personalize what you are shown. These load only after you consent, and never for Pro subscribers.

Pro subscribers do not see ads. On a Pro account the ad code is not placed on the page at all, so no advertising cookies are set.

You can control personalized advertising in your Google Ad Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at optout.aboutads.info.

Browser storage that is not a cookie

When you use Ask AI, your recent conversation is kept in your browser's local storage so the thread survives a reload. It stays on your device and is not a tracking cookie.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clearing this site's cookies will bring back the consent banner so you can choose again. Blocking cookies may disable analytics or ad measurement. Reading the site and using Ask AI still work.
