Yaroslav Shilkloper, a Ukrainian-Israeli man extradited from Poland, received a four-year prison sentence for operating a fake brokerage scheme.

The scheme defrauded American investors of approximately $3 million; Shilkloper was the first of three defendants sentenced in the case.
