Israeli ‘smart’ gene therapy activates only during epileptic seizures

Researchers at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem have developed a 'smart' gene therapy designed to activate only during epileptic seizures.

Professor Tawfeeq Shekh-Ahmed stated that the goal was to create a treatment that works in harmony with the brain's natural processes.
