Democratic socialist Kai Newkirk is running in the Arizona primary against four-term Rep. Greg Stanton. Newkirk criticized Stanton for opposing the Massie amendment that sought to end U.S. military aid to Israel and attacked AIPAC's influence.

Stanton has maintained a pro-Israel record during his time in Congress.
