Police refrain from arresting draft evading yeshiva student at Beit She'an Junction...

Police officers attempted to arrest a yeshiva student who had failed to report for military service at Beit She'an Junction but encountered resistance from people at the scene.

Those present threatened to stage a protest and warned of chaos if the arrest proceeded, after which the officers allowed the student to leave without taking him into custody.
