India has ranked among Iran's five largest trading partners. Bilateral trade has dropped more than 90 percent from its 2018/19 peak of $17 billion.

Indian exports to Iran are now limited and are expected to decline further due to the halt of shipments via Dubai and ongoing US sanctions.
