Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib, head of Realign for Palestine, spoke on the What Matters Now podcast hosted by Amanda Borschel-Dan. He described conditions on the ground in Gaza, including an uptick in diseases such as chicken pox from extreme unsanitary conditions.

Alkhatib stated that Hamas continues to hold two million hostages in the Gaza Strip.
