Rooftop solar panel tariffs to fall sharply in 2027...

The tariff paid to owners of rooftop solar panels in Israel currently ranges from NIS 0.48 to NIS 0.54 per kilowatt-hour. The rate is expected to fall to NIS 0.35 per kilowatt-hour for installations made from next year.

The reduction applies to new solar roof systems and reflects planned changes in government compensation for renewable energy production.
