Barrack says Israel is occupying Golan Heights, in spite of U.S. recognition...

U.S. Ambassador to Turkey and special envoy for Syria Tom Barrack described Israel as occupying the Golan Heights against UN resolutions and international law. The remarks came despite the United States recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the area.

Barrack made the comments in a Friday interview while discussing regional issues involving Syria.
