Ancient Huqoq Synagogue Mosaics Go on Display for First Time...

The ancient Huqoq synagogue, located in Israel, is showcasing its remarkable mosaics for the first time. These mosaics, dating back to the Roman and Byzantine periods, depict biblical scenes and are considered unique among Israel's ancient synagogues.

The excavation was led by Professor Jodi Magness from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
