The handwritten diary of József Bihari, a Hungarian Jewish survivor of forced labor during the Holocaust, has been translated and published in English.

Approximately 100,000 Hungarian Jewish men were conscripted into the munkaszolgálat battalions, and tens of thousands died before Germany occupied Hungary in 1944.
