Karen Diamond, an 82-year-old Jewish woman, was participating in a walk in Boulder advocating for the release of hostages when she was attacked with a firebomb.

The perpetrator pleaded guilty to 12 federal charges, nine of them hate crimes, in connection with the incident described as an attack on Jews for being Jews.
