New York woman charged for attempting to send funds to Palestinian Islamic Jihad

Catherine Beth Washburn has been charged by federal prosecutors for allegedly attempting to send over $30,000 in cryptocurrency to a member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) in Gaza.

Prosecutors claim she expressed support for the group's actions, particularly in relation to the events of October 7.
