West Nile Virus carrying mosquitoes detected in several areas...

The Health and Environmental Protection Ministries announced that mosquitoes carrying the West Nile virus were detected in Petah Tikva, Kafr Qasim, Kafr Bara, Ben Gurion Airport, and the Brenner and Central Arava regional councils.

Since the beginning of the season, 17 people have been diagnosed with the virus. One person has died while another remains hospitalized.
