Reps. Gottheimer, LaHood visit Lebanon, meet President Aoun...

US Representatives Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Darin LaHood (R-IL) visited Lebanon this week under the House Intelligence Committee. They held discussions with the Lebanese government, including President Aoun, on countering Hezbollah and negotiations with Israel.

Gottheimer has previously pressed Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah and accused the government of failing to take serious steps toward that goal.
