New House bill would allow synagogues to use security grants to hire full-time security guards...
Rep. Joe Neguse (D-CO) and Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) introduced legislation to modify the Nonprofit Security Grant Program, allowing synagogues and other recipients to use funds for staffing costs such as full-time security guards.
The bill was proposed more than a year after a firebombing attack on an Israeli hostage awareness march in Boulder, Colorado.
