House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries stated in a “Dear Colleague” letter that he opposes an amendment to remove all U.S. aid to Israel from the 2027 State Department appropriations bill.

Jeffries also called for “urgent change” in the U.S.-Israel relationship and indicated that modifications to future aid packages would be needed.
