Several House Republicans sent a letter to the Department of Justice calling for an investigation into whether New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and international affairs commissioner Ana María Archila violated the Logan Act.

The officials had scheduled a meeting with the Iranian ambassador to the United Nations.
