Chief of Staff to Katz family: After 44 years, the Battle of Sultan Yacoub is over...

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir spoke with the family of Yehuda Yekutiel Katz following the return of his remains to Israel. He stated that the circle has closed as all those missing from the Battle of Sultan Yacoub have now been returned.

The family thanked the Chief of Staff for the efforts to bring Yehuda home for burial in Israel. They added that his funeral will unite the nation and will be held in accordance with his unique character.
