3.5 tons of drugs seized at Beirut Port...

Lebanon's Ministry of Finance announced that customs authorities seized a 3.5-ton shipment of narcotics at the Port of Beirut. The drugs were reportedly destined for smuggling to an African country.

Several members of the suspected smuggling network were arrested in connection with the seizure.
