A New York Times and Siena University poll of likely US voters found greater trust in Democrats than Republicans on handling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Voters were narrowly divided on military aid to Israel and on sympathies toward Israelis versus Palestinians, with sharp differences appearing by age group.
