Archaeologists have uncovered a 7.2-foot statue of a young man in a city mentioned in the Book of Revelation. The figure dates to the Lydian Kingdom period and had remained hidden for centuries.

The discovery took place at an ancient site in western Turkey associated with one of the seven churches addressed in the New Testament.
