Austria has shifted its approach to its Nazi past by sending young people abroad to confront and learn about historical events, particularly relating to the Holocaust.

A nonprofit in Long Island is collaborating with Austrian volunteers to share the story of Holocaust rescuers and preserve Jewish history for new audiences.
