Israeli Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir toured the security zone in southern Syria. He stated Israel will not allow enemies to establish themselves on its borders.

Zamir warned that escalation could develop on any front and praised reservists who have served hundreds of days since the war began.
