We lost an outstanding officer: Dor replaced injured battalion commander, fell in battle

Dor Gedalia Ben Simhon was killed in battle in southern Lebanon after taking command of Battalion 52 two months prior. His leadership was noted as exceptional, and his loss is mourned by his comrades and the Israeli defense community.
