The British Conservative Party has defended its inclusion of Joshua Bonehill-Paine as a local election candidate.

Bonehill-Paine was convicted in 2015 of racially aggravated harassment against a Labour MP and had been imprisoned for stirring up hatred against a London Jewish community.
