Former Prime Minister Yair Lapid stated that Israel's foreign relations constitute a disaster and must be treated as an integral component of national security.

Lapid noted that stronger diplomatic ties would improve Israel's access to advanced weapons, intelligence cooperation, technology, energy, scientific partnerships and global markets.
