With opposition support: Bill to limit mosque noise approved in preliminary reading

A bill aimed at limiting noise from mosques has passed its preliminary reading with the support of 50 MKs, including members from Yisrael Beytenu.

The legislation would require mosques to obtain a permit for using public address systems and impose significant fines for any violations.
