Jews 525% likelier hate-crime targets in first half of 2026 than population share suggests, per FBI data

According to recent FBI data, Jews are disproportionately targeted as victims of hate crimes, accounting for about 15% of religion-based hate crimes since the start of 2026.

This percentage starkly contrasts with statistics for other religious groups, including Sikhs, Muslims, and Arabs, who represent only 2% and 1%, respectively, of such crimes.
