Rare First Temple-Era figurine mold unearthed in Jerusalem...

A rare mold used to cast the face of a female figurine from the First Temple period was uncovered in an Israel Antiquities Authority excavation at the Kishle site inside the Tower of David Jerusalem Museum complex.

The work took place during preparations for the museum's new Schulich Wing for Archaeology.
