Artist and Israel Prize laureate Yaacov Agam passes away at the age of 98

Yaacov Agam, the internationally renowned artist and Israel Prize laureate, passed away today at the age of 98. He was celebrated as one of the pioneers of kinetic art worldwide.

Agam is survived by three children and was the brother of Hanania Gibstein, who served as mayor of Rishon LeZion for many years. Funeral details have not yet been released.
