A Torah scroll dedicated to a boy in Connecticut has completed a 50-year journey to Jerusalem after a local synagogue closed. A chance Facebook connection and assistance from a retired rabbi enabled the transfer.

The scroll arrived in Israel as part of its aliyah process from the United States.
