Rabbi David Fendel described the expansion of Yeshivat Hesder Sderot in an interview with Arutz Sheva. The yeshiva and its students have participated in rebuilding efforts in Sderot after the October 7 attacks.

They have acted as community guardians while promoting Religious Zionist growth. Rabbi Fendel characterized Sderot as a capital of Torah and Zionism.
