Aisha Wahab defeated former mayor Melissa Hernandez in the special election for California’s 14th Congressional District. Wahab will replace former Rep. Eric Swalwell in the House.

Hernandez was supported by more than $2.5 million in spending from the AIPAC-linked United Democracy Project super PAC.
