The Combat Antisemitism Movement reported a 97 percent surge in global adoptions of the IHRA definition of antisemitism in 2025. The organization described the definition and its 11 contemporary examples as the emerging global gold standard.

Barney Breen-Portnoy stated that recognition of the definition is expanding worldwide.
