‘Israel had no plan to attack Iran before election,’ defense minister says...

Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz stated on Monday that the country has no plan to strike Iran before Tuesday’s election. Katz was responding to media reports of a rift between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir over alleged orders to prepare an attack.

The minister asserted there was no such operational directive in place ahead of the vote.
