New York State Assembly member Zohran Mamdani stated that protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would take place ahead of the prime minister's visit to New York City.

The remarks come months after Mamdani considered whether he could arrange for Netanyahu's arrest during the trip.
