The US Navy has unveiled the AIM-424 Malice, an air-to-air missile with a range exceeding 250 nautical miles, or more than 460 kilometers.

This places the weapon well beyond the reach of standard beyond-visual-range missiles such as the AIM-120 AMRAAM.
