A poll conducted by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression found that only 23 percent of Americans feel comfortable discussing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict without fear of reprimand.

Polling manager Nathan Honeycutt stated that most Americans do not feel comfortable expressing their opinions on key topics of debate.
