Belgian collector lends rare René Magritte work to Israel Museum during painting restoration...

A Belgian collector has lent the rare René Magritte painting The Castle of the Pyrenees to the Israel Museum. The loan replaces another work undergoing restoration after damage.

The original painting was torn approximately two months ago when a five-year-old boy pushed a pinecone toward the canvas during a family visit to the museum.
