A mother of a 4-year-old described a New York City-funded festival as feeling like a lynch mob after a performer accused Israel of war crimes. The woman, an immigrant from the former Soviet Union, said antisemitism is the reason she came to the United States and called its open display in daylight awful.

The incident occurred at the publicly supported event where the performer made the accusation against Israel during the program.
