Rafael has signed a Statement of Intent with the State of Lower Saxony and Aurelius Capital to convert Volkswagen’s Osnabrück site into a center of excellence for security and defense technologies.

The partnership will develop and produce air defense components using Rafael’s combat-proven technology, extending the Israeli company’s 20-plus years of operations in Germany and advancing bilateral defense ties.
