Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz held a special security meeting this week on incendiary kites launched from Gaza. The session included IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi and focused on responses to Hamas activity.

The discussions produced a change in Israel's targeted-killing policy against Hamas operatives in the Gaza Strip.
