The Haftorah we sing every Friday night...

The Haftorah consists of selections from the Prophets read in synagogues after the Torah portion on Shabbat. It is customarily sung on Friday nights as part of Jewish weekly observance.

The selected reading conveys the expectation that the Jewish people rise, rebuild, and act in response to its message.
