Syria updates: Nine killed in Damascus cafe bombing

Nine people were killed and 20 others injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast at a cafe in central Damascus, according to the Syrian Ministry of Interior.

The investigation revealed that the explosive device contained about one kilogram of explosives packed with metal fragments to maximize casualties.
