The US administration has reiterated that Hezbollah remains designated as a terrorist organization with no change in its position on Lebanon. Sources indicated Washington has not adopted any formula that would grant the group a role in negotiations.

The administration ruled out including Hezbollah as a political participant in any talks, according to reports from the Lebanese newspaper Nidaa al-Watan.
