President Donald Trump nominated Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX), a former Army officer and Apache helicopter pilot, as the U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

The nomination is intended to fill multiple vacant Middle East ambassadorships during his second administration.
