Barak Avramov, owner of the Japanika restaurant chain and connected to Beitar, started in the food business after working as a flower arranger with outlets at Habima and on Rothschild Boulevard. He was initially close to the Musli brothers crime organization before shifting toward the rival Jarushi family, resulting in crossfire violence including grenade attacks on his outlets.

Following the attacks, including one at the Rosh Pina branch, Avramov’s company postponed its planned stock exchange listing.
