The US Treasury has targeted a UAE-based cryptocurrency exchange for allegedly facilitating an Iran sanctions evasion scheme.

Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent stated that the department will pursue and dismantle the illicit financial networks supporting the Iranian regime.
